Tips
Do
- Check your spelling and grammar.
- Keep your letter short and to the point.
- Know which department/role you want to work in.
- Check the spelling of the name of the person you are
writing to. - Try to be a bit different.
- Know that everyone responds to a bribe in the form of chocolate, always.
Don't
- Put the wrong agency name on your application.
- Call someone Mrs/Miss or Mr without checking they are male or female.
- Be rude or use lots of bad language; it’s not big or clever.
- Use pictures that are likely to offend.
- Be so different that the craziness goes off the dial.
- Be afraid to be honest.

How do I apply for a job at W + K?
If you fancy working at Wieden + Kennedy there are a handful of prerequisites:
- You need to be a creative person (whatever department you work in).
- You need to be passionate about what you do.
- You need to be extremely thick-skinned.
And you probably need a sense of humour. (Optional but trust us, it will help).
We ask that everyone write us a one page only letter along with their CV or portfolio.
The letter should briefly cover the following:
- Why you want to work at W + K?
- Why you want to fill a particular role and the one thing special or different that only you can bring to W + K?
- The three things that you are most passionate about.
- A moment in your life when you embraced failure.
- A time when you broke the rules for the greater good.
Remember to keep everything to one page, and do not send anything over 2mb; it clogs up our system and makes us sad.

Graduates/internships
Currently Wieden + Kennedy London does not run a grad or internship scheme. We would love to be able to do this in the future. Come back and visit us soon and hopefully we will have better news.
