Wieden + Kennedy London celebrated this week winning a pencil in the graphic design category at the D&AD awards for their 2005 Christmas card.

WKside employees Tom Seymour, Paul Wetherall, Orlando Sterling and Sarah Daggar-Nickson created the agency's card that contained bin liners in the shape and design of a Christmas pudding. The copy on the packaging read 'Wishing You A Merry Christmas And A Tidy New Year - Keep Britain Merry'. The final result was a simple, quirky, interactive Christmas card which raised many a smile.

WKside is a training scheme that's designed to bring in
bright, enthusiastic people from outside the ad industry
and teach them about the advertising business. It's also
an opportunity for W+K to learn new ways of thinking
about things from fresh perspectives.
