Wieden + Kennedy London have launched a campaign with Save the Children UK, calling all Gordon Browns across the UK to support their ‘Free Healthcare’ initiative for all children across sub-Saharan Africa.
Gordon Brown MP already knows the importance of free healthcare for children living in sub-Saharan Africa, but we want him to influence the G8 to put healthcare at the top of the agenda in June. 800 children could be saved every day if healthcare was free, so we want Gordon Brown MP to get the G8 to commit to helping African countries abolish healthcare fees for children.
Wieden + Kennedy and Save the Children UK have been travelling the country videoing Gordon Browns, asking them to support the campaign. If all the other Gordon Browns in the UK say ‘yes’ to free healthcare, so should Gordon Brown the MP…

Wieden + Kennedy London's Honda 'Choir' spot has won a Creativity Award at the first ever, annual Creativity Awards. Wieden + Kennedy Amsterdam also won for their 'Coke Side Of Life' campaign.
The Creativity Awards were designed to recognise the best ideas around the world regardless of media or platform or category. There are no gold, silver or bronze awards, work was rated based on the strength of its idea and execution.
Creativity asked over 150 creative directors and designers from around the world to nominate what they thought were the best ideas of 2006 from every possible area: TV, viral, print and outdoor ads, interactive and integrated campaigns, products, package design, guerilla efforts, catalogues, buildings, street art, branded (and un-branded) content and more. AdCritic subscribers were then invited, along with the chosen 150, to submit 'people's choice' nominations, several of which were added to the pool. The nominations were screened and then put in front of a panel of 16 judges - some of the world's top creatives. They reviewed the work on a special section of AdCritic, rated it, and passed along their comments. The items that scored highest are Creativity Award winners.
