The Observer are giving away a 64pg magazine called Drugs Uncovered this Sunday with the paper. The magazine is an in-depth investigation into people’s attitudes to and usage of drugs in 2008 and incorporates the results of an in depth survey to over 1000 people across the UK

Our campaign, created by Chris Groom, Angus Macadam and Nicholla Longley, raises awareness of the promotion through demonstrating the simple, striking, statistical fact, that over 1.5mill people in the UK think they've had a drug problem.

Wieden + Kennedy

Wieden + Kennedy has been appointed as lead global strategic and creative agency for Nokia’s Nseries business following a pitch led by the W+K London office against the incumbent agency.

 

Nokia Nseries is Nokia’s flagship sub-brand, consists of a range of multimedia devices. These are convergence mobile devices supporting digital multimedia services such as music playback, video capture, photography, mobile gaming and Internet services. The convergence device market is growing, currently representing 40 million units a year, and Nokia is the market leader worldwide.

 

Work by W+K will begin immediately, and first communications are expected to roll out in 2009.

 

Neil Christie, Managing Director W+K London said, ‘We’re delighted and honoured to take responsibility for Nokia Nseries on a global basis. We’re excited about the opportunity to do some truly groundbreaking non-traditional work.’

W+K London's latest campaign for Nokia broke this week. 'Comes With Music', created by Pat McKay, Feh Tarty, Ian Perkins, Simone Wagener and Hemant Anant Jain and creatively directed by Matt Gooden, Ben Walker and Tony Davidson supports the launch of Nokia’s brand new service – the first of its kind in fact.

When you buy a Nokia Comes With Music phone, you get unlimited access to download millions of tracks from the NMS. This has been achieved by Nokia connecting with the four big record labels, so many big, global artists are included.
